Boring Headlines Build SEO Rank Bonanza

I like a catchy headline. (I also like alliteration) . Search engines, like Google, do not. The New York Times rambled a bit about this in their week in review.

The two headlines thing can be a bit annoying, when talking to someone do you really want to sort out whether both of you are reading the same article? This also tends to be an issue when attempting to cite the article in a paper. Hmm...will the real title please stand up?

Journalists using keywords, well, DUH, shouldn't journalist USE the words readers use when looking for information on a topic? Keywords are not mysterious; not really. Journalists can and should use them in their articles.
