The Courier-Mail: Off with their thumbs, says Mayor [05nov05]: "Mr Goodman also called for the flogging of naughty children with whips and canes."
The last line of this article made it seem for sure like The Onion had cooked it up but...no...apparently the mayor of Las Vegas has apparently suggested taggers get thumbs cut off and children flogged.

The link is not working? I assume this is about a mayor saying children shoulbe whipped into submission?
Personally, I think mayors should be whipped into submission. ;-)
